Day 254: Making Room
Three days ago we wrote about our current “Whole House Review” and all the ways that it is benefitting our awareness. There is one more very important benefit which we know is waiting for us on the other side of this project: room to create something new.
By shedding both the excess things in our lives as well as the ideas and ideals that they represent which we no longer subscribe to, we make space to create our new way of being based on the truths we have learned about ourselves. When we confront and discard the artifacts which represent our old way of being, it aids us in erasing old patterns as well as reinforcing our dedication to who we are now. When we shed the echoes of our unconscious life, it is like getting a fresh piece of paper so we can start from scratch with limitless possibilities.
For many years, when we felt that our way of living was not bringing us the joy which we knew was our birthright, we tried to tweak, adjust and edit our lives. We were trying to find the settings on the dials which would make us feel satisfied in our lives. What we know now is that we needed a total shift, not a tweak, and we needed to crumple up the paper and throw it away so we could start fresh.
Certainly, MyCrownShift was such an act of throwing away our paper so we could start creating anew. Still, even after such an act, there were many other aspects and things in our lives which have restricted our ability to create more than we would like. This purging is our next, big step, in creating that creative space which we crave.
